Don’t become a statistic and lose your Non-Profit 501(c)(3) status!

dot org - nonprofit internet domainAll 501(c)(3) nonprofits are required to annually file an IRS Form 990.  If a nonprofit does not to file a Form 990 for 3 years, the IRS will revoke their nonprofit status. If the nonprofit relies on donors, these donors would not be able to deduct their donations as a charitable contribution.  The nonprofit would also not be eligible for any grants.  Lastly, the nonprofit would NOT qualify to obtain insurance through Hawley & Associates, LLC! Once a nonprofit status is revoked it is a long reinstatement process and it could take years.   For more information, please contact the IRS regarding your filing requirements as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

At Hawley & Associates, LLC we are proud to serve non-profit organizations by offering specialized insurance coverage to fit their needs.  Our specialties are Professional Liability, Sexual Abuse Liability, Directors and Officers Liability, Social Service, General Liability, Commercial Property and Business Auto.
