“Ditch The Duds”- Support Orphans This Easter!

Ditch-the-Duds-FB-squareHow much will your family spend on new clothes for Easter Sunday? Did you know for the cost of your Easter clothes you could provide food and clothes to an orphan in need? We have come across a wonderful cause and want to share!

Our client, New Beginnings, a domestic/international adoption agency is holding an amazing campaign to support orphans in Nepal!

This Easter we’re challenging you to “Ditch the Duds”. That’s right, forget the fancy clothes and wear a t-shirt supporting the Mercy Nepal orphanage instead. Sound a bit rouge for Easter Sunday morning? It is. But what better time to give to orphans and call attention to the plight of orphans than Easter Sunday?

For every Mangali t-shirt bought, $11 will be given to their orphanage in Nepal. They hope to raise $2,000 through this campaign.

By wearing a simple t-shirt instead of new clothes on Easter Sunday, you’ll be raising awareness of the need for orphan care throughout the world! Start the conversation now with your family, friends, Sunday School Classes, and church families to “Ditch the Duds” as a group this Easter. Help us help the orphans in need.

To order, just download the attached t-shirt order form and return it to New Beginnings. Please do not hesitate to call them with any questions or concerns at 662-842-6752.

P.S. The “Ditch the Duds” campaign is actually part of a larger movement called “Forget the Frock”. Check out their website (link to http://forgetthefrock.org/) and ready Emily’s inspiring story of how one woman’s heart for orphans is raising awareness and money for orphans worldwide.

We are sad to announce the passing of Wayne Hawley. Wayne was the father of H&A’s President, Phil Hawley. Wayne was literally a “founding father” of Hawley & Associates. Without his knowledge, unwavering patience and guiding hand, H&A would not be the company it is today.

You will always remain in the hearts of your friends and family. Not a day will go by that you are not loved and remembered.

A Haunted Hawley-Wood Halloween!

Publication1This year at Hawley & Associates, our Halloween office party had a HAWLEY-WOOD theme.  Each costume had to be a character from an Academy Award winning film.  We had Dracula, The Great Gatsby, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Platoon, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Toy Story all represented!

We had a pumpkin decorating contest as well, and it was amazing to see the pumpkin ‘artists’ come out in all of us!

We hope everyone had a great and safe Halloween!
